About Us

In October 2017, Mosaic Village church was given the blessing* to begin planting new connected communities of faith we like to call "Villages" in the greater Houston area.

Starting with a wonderful core of faithful families who have committed to join in what God is doing through MVC.
As we start to envision the different villages that God could form in the Houston area, YOU are important voice in our conversations! Come join us and connect to a new vision of church community!

Our Vision

"One Church Many Villages"
To grow faithful, compassionate and creativedisciples of Jesus through a connected network of “villages” in the greater Houston area, Serving as one worshipping community.

Love God
Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?’ He said to him, ‘ “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’
                                                                                        Matthew 22:36-40
Love Neighbor
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’
Matthew 28:19-20

Curated by a Village leader

Defined as either a geographic area/community or identifiable racial/ethnic/cultural/interest group. Several areas of Houston have already been identified as possible village locations.

Purpose: To grow a distinct faith community based on the geographic or racial/ethnic/cultural group. Each village will help to support local churches, ministries, and community organizations wherever possible. Bible Studies and local outreach, fellowship and missions can be done through these villages.
